About Our
Badminton Club
Founded in 1999, Horsforth Badminton Club has grown into a vibrant, friendly community of around 35 active members. We play twice a week, combining friendly rallies with competitive matches, and proudly field nine teams in the Leeds league.
We’re always keen to welcome players who want to compete. While we’ve got a range of abilities across the club, we’re not a beginners’ club, and our main focus is league badminton. And unlike many clubs that take a break in summer, we play all year round, from September through to August, so our members get plenty of court time and great value.
Beyond competition and performance, here at Horsforth Badminton Club it’s not just about the matches. We’re a supportive, sociable bunch where it’s easy to make friends, have a laugh, and encourage each other to improve on court.
So, whether you’re here for the rallies, the wins, or simply the good company, you’ll always find a warm welcome here.
